ABOUT

Kshetra Collective is a group of creatives of Indian descent that was founded in 2022. The collective is made up of artist Shruti Yatri, filmmaker Mandrika Rupa, playwright and actor Jacob Rajan, mixed-media artist Tiffany Singh, spatial designer Rafik Patel, visual artist Sarah Dutt and dancer Mandy Rupa-Reid.

Each member brings their experience in their respective fields to the collective, with the larger aim of encouraging the visibility and wider representation of Indian communities in Aotearoa. The collective spotlights the cultural contribution that each artist has made to the country’s creative sector. Currently, they have been focused on creating exhibitions that showcase each member’s individual artistic practice.
